On behalf of the Thurmont Community Ambulance Service, I want to express our excitement about the newly formed Venture Crew 270. We are looking forward to working with your Crew in the future, realizing that the possible opportunities that lie ahead are endless. With our shared knowledge base, the training opportunities that we can provide each other, and the combined participation of both organizations’ membership, this new relationship has the potential for great things.
Venturing is a wonderful opportunity for young adults to step out and experience the world, to help explore who they are and who they want to become. We view your Crew as a vital link between today and the future of our community, and encourage each and every member to take full advantage of both organizations. Anyone who wishes to focus on the topics of first aid, a career as a firefighter, EMT or Paramedic, or simply wants to become more involved with the community should seriously consider membership in the Thurmont Community Ambulance Service. I would be more than happy to discuss this with each of you in more detail. But beyond that, make sure you enjoy your time together, experience as much as you can, and discover the world that awaits you.
We are proud to be your Charter Organization and look forward to working with you in the future. If we can be of any service to you, please do not hesitate to ask.
Yours in Scouting,
Jason Schultz, EMT-B
Sergeant, Thurmont Community Ambulance Service
Charter Organization Representative, Venturing Crew 270
